Just fantastic enjoyed every minute and every bite was just great. We felt like we were at a friends house watching the game. We had a terrible day all day trying to find out if we were going to watch the game. The opener for the Utes football season. Just mad at Directv and the pac12 network.. Directv can go broke we are moving to Comcast.

Truly Terrible. Ruby River summary: Steak inconsistent and rubbery to put it politely. The wait staff forgetful after several requests for service making food cold before anything served. Wait staff passes the buck to one another when mistakes were made. Once management was "involved" (as much as he could muster) he had no people skills or concern about customer's experience. Never had problem before but will NEVER return, I'd rather have ate at the Hires next door.

Alot has changed. Took my dad out for his birthday for a nice steak dinner. We have gone to this restaraunt many times and had great service and food. Unfortunately this time was very different. Poor service and the food for $25+ per person was very poor to say the least. Waiting staff was understaffed...manager came to help out and unfortunately failed requests for sides and poorly cooked steak. I will not be back to this restaraunt.

The worst sandwich.. The building and accessories were nice, decor great service was excellent food was not good! I had the Ruby River version of a French dip the beef was advertised in the menu to be slow roasted prime rib. You could have despots shoes with this beef it was more like beef jerky with no flavor I will never return and suggest that you think twice before eating at this establishment.

Was Not Impressed. I will start with what i liked. the atmosphere was nice and relaxing and the service was great but too pricey for the quality of food. I've had better and I have made better myself. I don't think I would return.

The Best Steakhouse in SLC!!. Best Steak in Town. Top sirloin can't be beat. It doesn't have as much fat as a New York steak and Ribeye. The jacketed yam is great with cinnamon butter.

Come during lunch and it is cheaper. The service was top notch.

Flooded Bathroom. They charge a bit too much for their steak. They season it the same, usually all the time. Once you get your sides and then your steak, you can hardly pack down your food.

Medium scale service.

One time that I was there with my friend, we had to visit the restrooms and the urinal was overflowing and we got out of there just before the water leaked out of the bathroom door ( This happened about roughly six years ago, but still--I am serious about that.)

Excellent BBQ too, and amazing baked potatos and yams. Their ribs are excellent, and so are their steaks, but this place is a little pricey to be an everyday restaurant. The bill for two orders of ribs, an onion ring thing, and two beers, was about $60 with tax and tip...a bit much for a chain type restaurant...

Pleasant Steakhouse (OGDEN ONLY). Ruby River is owned by the Sizzler Chain. How good can it get? Red Robin is also owned by the Sizzler chain, and it is the best coffee shop in Utah. So, what's here?

The decor of this particular Ruby River (Ogden), is very log cabin attractive. The best thing on the menu is the ribeye steak with baked yam. Avoid the porterhouse (big enough for two): it was undercooked (raw), and lacked the flavor of the ribeye. The dinner salad was just O.K.

Pricey. For value, stick with Red Robin.

Great food...just one concern. I placed a to-go order at the Jordan Commons Ruby River. The food itself was wonderful! However, I was surprised when I received no utensils to eat with, no napkins, no butter for the sourdough bread and no steak sauce for the meat.

Obviously not a big deal and I definitely recommend the food but c'mon, missing utensils, napkins, basic condiments?? This stuff should be a given especially for a steakhouse like Ruby River.
