Ruby is the best. I eat at Ruby River once a week and love their food. Every time I take new people there they rave about it.

It's not "Prime" rib. Food is good, but a pet peeve of mine is calling a rib roast prime when using choice meat. It was good, but it was not prime rib as noted in menu.

Huge, juicy cuts of beef in a steakhouse that's a shrine to the Wild West.. The Scene
A theme restaurant decorated with Western-style boots, guitars and cowboy images, Ruby River is a local chain with Old-West style. The interior is dimly lit and casual. Sink into one of the deep booths or sidle up to a barstool and munch on a bucket of peanuts.

The Food
Appetizers are mainly of the cheesy, deep-fried variety: red-pepper poppers, cheese bread and, of course, the deep-fried onion blossom. When it comes to entrees, go for the house specialty: beef. Huge steaks cooked to perfection are succulent and flavorful. The thick 16-ounce New York cut is tender and cooked to order. Try the fall-off-the-bone ribs brushed with tangy barbecue sauce for another winning selection. Lighter eaters might try the barbecue chicken (tasty, but a little dry) or one of the pasta dishes. Entrees are served with a cinnamon-butter-smothered sweet potato, fries or baked potato. Herbivores may be disappointed by the bland salads--but who comes to a steakhouse to eat veggies?

I love BBQ!. I was in Ruby River (the one in Ogden) just yesterday for my 16th birthday dinner. The people there were awesome and I loved the food. They even sang to me and gave me a free dessert!

High Class Western Steaks. Excellent, high quality, crowded, long wait to get in, expensive. My bill for 3 people was $105 plus tips, without expensive drinks.

A good place to go for a good steak. Definitely one of the best.

Ruby River in Ogden. If you want a romantic atmosphere and love Ruby River...the Ogden location is for you. Enjoy your meal in front of a fire in this log cabin steak house. Very nice!

Best Steak Anywhere!. I don't normally eat steak. It's bland and unsatisfying. Then I tried a New York cut at Ruby River, and I haven't been able to stop going back at least once a week. It's honestly awful; I'm not a red-meat type of eater at all, and yet I can't stop thinking about Ruby River's steaks. They are by far the best steaks I have ever tasted anywhere. Since then, I have gotten many other steaks in search of a good one, and they are all crap. Ruby River has the best steaks anywhere--period!

!!!!!!!!!EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!. We eat at Ruby River every chance we get! We live in Oregon and there are none here, but when we travel, we do try to find one. Their steaks are awesome and the jacketed potatoes, to die for! They need to move west!!!
