The Scene – Servers bustle around the dining room offering skewers of beef, pork, poultry, pineapple and vegetables. The music is loud, so eating becomes the focus of activity. – – The Food – The full Rodizio is the most popular item on the menu; it includes an appetizer plate of glazed bananas and an assortment of breads, unlimited trips to the salad bar and entrees ranging from turkey wrapped with ham and top sirloin to Brazilian sausage and swordfish. Servers offer skewers in random order continuously until you signal them to stop. For lighter appetites, the…
not the best choice we ever made

While I found one item that came by that was good-- there was nothing making me want to return for more. The gourmet salad bar was a bunch of trays of romaine lettuce with different things sprinkled on the top, along with canned olives and some salads that tasted straight from the box. And The feature meat and cheese tray was pepper jack and cheddar cubes from walmart and Turkey pastrami( one step up from bologna). Chuck-a-Rama puts on a better spread, and if you want truly amazing--in the same price range go to THE ROOF, by the time you add drinks and desserts at rodizio you are right up to the same price point as THE ROOF. We chose to rodizio as we had heard good things, We were sadly disappointed. The service was OK, but the food quality is where they missed the boat. The beef tender was tender enough to chew, but everthing else was so dry or tough that my jaw got tired of chewing. And if your after exotic, The most exotic things we saw where quail eggs( they say they're and aphrodisiac) and chicken hearts--YUMMY). I probably sent more food away uneaten that I actually ate. The pineapple was OK, but the other appetizers were bland and tasteless-- The banana was kinda a flashback to baby food days. Nothing in the "FULL RODIZIO" left us wanting more. We left hungry and went to The Bakery for a night cap to satisfy our need for good food. Anyway, If I need scarf and chuck, I'll go to Chuck-a-Rama, and If I want amazing "all I can eat", I'll go to THE ROOF, or sunday brunch at the Little America , or Grand America. But as for the rodizio, We Won't be back any time soon. Try if you like, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Happy eating.
- Pros: amazing concept

Good Food Bad Service

I met up with a large group of girls at Rodizios last weekend. When I arrived I asked the hostess about the reservation and she was basically clueless and had no idea who I was talking about. She was no help at all and gave me a blank stare. The staff at the front appear to be young and inexperienced, which is sad because the price of the meal is somewhat pricey. You would think the restaurant would at least find people with some intellect to run the front. 45 minutes later, I was able to find other people from my group, and I found out that they were all in a banquet room next to the restaurant, no thanks to the Rodizio staff.
The banquet room was okay, but there was a huge hole in the ceiling. That ruined the ambience. The food was good but some of the servers who brought the meat around seemed to be in a bad mood. The woman who worked directly with our party was very nice, it was just ALL the other staff that seemed to be off.
It was a weekend night so the restaurant was very busy. I would not recommend any large parties to come here. We made a reservation and we still had lots of problems with some of our ladies being directed to where we were. Seriously the girls who run the front are clueless. Rodizio should really consider making some staff changes.
