It's the kind of shop many people avoid for fear of being snubbed by the fashionable. But Bastille is a pleasant surprise. The small store is cozy, efficient and inviting. Extraordinarily friendly sales associates drop everything to show you around, pointing out the latest fashions with unabashed enthusiasm.

The Goods
One of the few local stores where you can locate Versace. It also carries Tredair, Kenneth Cole, Puma and Prada. Prices are reasonable, considering these are designer items. You can pick up Versace jeans for $150, while a pair of Patrick Cox dress shoes costs around $200. Don't miss the fine selection of blouses by Michael Stars. They run between $30 and $60.

Very Cool. Bastille is the best palce for shoes in Salt Lake City. You will find things here that you won't see anywhere else, unless you leave the state. Check out their selection of Marc Jacobs!
