Editorial Review for Haroon's – by Renee Lowry
The Scene
Admit it: There's something magical about a frothy, drop-waist gown. Perhaps women are tiring of that angular Banana Republic look. Perhaps the '20s are eternally hip. Whatever the reason, Haroon's has been in business for more than 20 years, proving that women never outgrow their dress-up instincts.
The Goods
Brands are rather obscure (Wind River? Papillons?). But the lure is really the store itself. Haroon's two locations are indescribably elegant. Flowing gowns drape almost every inch, while glass jewelry sparkles on the countertop. Dresses are mostly vintage in design, mimicking the understated elegance of the 1920s and '30s. Expect to spend anywhere from $50 to $200 for a dress. Jewelry is reasonably priced at about $20 for a necklace.

Out of every generic bridal shop that Utah has to offer, this "not so mainstream" shop had the one of a kind dress I had only imagined. I often shop at this store, but never thought it would carry anything along the lines of bridal garb. I beg to differ with the negative comment left before me, the store clerks are actually quite helpful, happy and fun to talk to. I know many of the sales ladies by name as I am a regular customer. I would say that if you are looking for something to wear that is totally unique and one of a kind, this is the store to go to. The prices are not too shabby and the clothing is to die for! P.S. Perhaps angry people (aka discount shoppers) should stick with their dollar stores and second hand clothing shops and not knock the high quality hand crafted stores that the upper class enjoy. Ha ha!
Pros: Ambience, Parking and Service

Each time I've been into the shop, the sales people have been snotty and rude. Beautiful clothes though!
Pros: Beautiful unique clothes
Cons: Customer Service
