Su casa is Amazing!. I went to the one on state st in Midvale, the building doesnt look all that inspiring, but the tables were comfortable, the menu had a lot to choose from. My husband had a burrito i had a shredded pork taco, and my cousin had enchiladas, the plates were huge very large portions, no one could finish their plates there were tons of fresh crisp veggies on all plates and all sauces or dips you could want. even the drinks were pretty big we just had soda . the waitress was attentive and polite. they brought us chips and dips and drinks within 3 min of us getting there, and our meals were there within 15 min.

Very happy customer!

The food is so bad.....!!. Should have listened to the past reviews, but new to Downtown my family & I are open to trying before judging. ABSOLUTELY NO FLAVOR, our dishes lacked any kind of natural or fresh flavors. As one of the previous posts, the salsa was something out of a can and just blended in a blender. The rice well...oh gosh...I can't explain it ...gross! I am absolutely amazed that the owner or cooks of this great located and cute restaurant are not reading these reviews, and they must be afraid to taste their cuisine! Salt Lake City is booming and becoming a hot spot for amazing new restaurants and foods. We have been fortunate to live in several metropolitan cities and travel around the world. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Salt Lake City, but have yet found a really good Mexican restaurant. This place lacked flavors of onions, fresh cilantro, jalapenos, cumin, salt, pepper, garlic, lime all the wonderful flavors and spices intergrated into Tex-Mex, Southwest, or Authentic Mexican cuisine! Unfortunately, everything, and I mean everything tasted right out of the "Sysco" Truck cans. The chips with the salsa...cheap processed tortilla chips bought at Costco! Its too bad...such a cute restaurant. The One star ...for "Eh" is forced...because it was not even ..."Eh".

Awful Mexican Food. I have lived in SLC for five years and finally went to Su Casa for lunch today. Started out being sat in cramped corner table. Salsa is like ketchup with NO spice at all. Chips are not fresh. I had the veggie burrito smothered. Enchilada sauce was bland with very little cheese. Inside burrito was mostly their awful rice. Rice seems to be pre-made or boxed Spanish rice from the store. My partner had the cheese quesadilla which was not bad, but how can you mess up a flour tortilla with melted cheese inside. Bottom line don't waste your time or money. Luckily we had a buy one get one free coupon that made us feel better about paying for the food.

not good. Have these people ever eaten Mexican food? My husband and I love mexican food, but this is so bland we did not like it. Don't waste your time...go to La Puente or the Red Iguana!
