These people are true craftsmen!!. After being rear ended by one of the many infamous Utah drivers on the road, I decided to take my Mazda 626 here based on good recommendations from others. I live in Provo and I drove by a lot of other body shops on my way to Wasatch. I am a mechanic and I have a sharp eye for detail when it comes to body work. I have seen a lot of bad body work in my life - paint that doesn't match or peels/chips/fades easily, body panels that don't line up, replaced doors that don't line up with the doorframe and let wind noise in, missing pieces, etc. There is a LOT of detail in body repair, more than most people realize, which is why good work is expensive. The staff at Wasatch Paint and body were very friendly and seemed eager to please when I dropped my car off. This place has first class service. The lady at the front desk and the guy in charge of my car were excellent and kept me informed throughout the repairs, and they took care of all of the details with the other drivers insurance company (who paid for it). The quality of the repairs was first class to match - the impact had damaged the bumper and the unibody frame, but only slightly, causing the trunk not to line up quite right with the surrounding body panels. This problem might have been overlooked at other body shops looking to save the insurance company money - but not at Wasatch. Wasatch fixed everything on my car down to meticulous detail - the alignment of the body panels was perfect, and the paint job was top notch. The unibody frame damage was fixed perfectly as well, and they even did a wheel alignment for good measure. I really could not tell that this vehicle had ever been involved in an accident. All of this left me wondering if the technicians were originally born in a shop and bottle fed Pennzoil - they know how to work magic on your car. The repairs come with a lifetime warranty, so have peace of mind. My great experience here probably explains why I saw several expensive luxury cars around the shop when I stopped by, and even though my ride was not worth a lot of money, I still received the same great service. As someone looking for a body shop, my advice to you is to go someplace like Wasatch who will fix the car properly and completely, since it will help your car retain it's resale value.…
Best Service Ever!. I had the unpleasant experience of being in an accident. I then went to Wasatch Body Shop. One of the best decisions I have ever made! Throughout the experience they worked with the insurance company to get the best parts they could. No second-hand parts. Because my car had 1200 miles on it I wanted it to look like new, and boy did it ever! I highly recommend this place, especially if you have a newer model car, as you won't be able to tell that you were ever in an accident. I pray you never get in an accident, but if you do, go here.…
Great Auto Body Shop. Had to get our 2007 Honda Fit repaired after hitting a dog. We had to use our insurance for the repair. I looked on City Search and they recommended Wasatch Body Shop. Everyone I dealt with at the body shop was polite and friendly and they even gave me a ride to the Trax Station. It took only 5 days to get my car finished, which is excellent considering parts had to be ordered from Honda. The paint and body work was excellent, with no apparent flaws. Take your car here and it will look good after they are finished with it.…
Great Experience. After being in a serious car accident, I wanted to find an autobody shop that I could trust to be an advocate for me, not the insurance companies. Kerry at Wasatch gained my trust immediately and made me feel at ease. They were great at negotiating with my insurance for the best possible outcome. Kerry kept me updated daily with the job status. They did such a great job, I brought my BMW to them to repair some smaller dents and dings.…
Absolutely great!. I had a problem with chemical stains dripped on my hood in a parking garage. I am really picky with my car and didn't want just anyone to try to fix it. I had other bids, but was hesitant to let any of them touch my car. I read the comments on this site and decided to take the car in and see how I felt about Wasatch. I spoke with Jerry - he was not only nice, but I felt like he cared as much as I did. He got the car right in, buffed out the marks and scratches without having to do any extensive painting - saved me a lot of money plus I can't even tell where the marks were. And again I'm REALLY picky. I would recommend this place highly. Great work, great customer service, great attitudes - great place!…
