Terrible Customer Service – We have eaten at Red Rock before and have never been impressed. We went there this last Friday night for a friend?s birthday. The waitress was terrible. We had nothing to drink with our meal because she took too long to bring a refill, at which point most of us were ready for our check, but hence she had still not brought one of our other friends her meal yet.
We tried to get them to split the check up, because none of us wanted to leave her a tip. They wouldn't do that and we were forced to leave a group tip. Out of the eleven people eating dinner there that night I don't believe one of us will want to ever go back.
And the food my wife and I had was not good, stay away from the Cajun Chicken Pizza for sure.
Some inventive dishes but average service – RR has some really great dishes--the new york sandwich smothered in gruyere and mozzarella, an original take on bruschetta, and the best onion rings in town--but really lacks in the area of service. I have seen several servers there combing their hair in the wait-station or drinking or eating--in plain view of customers. Their servers are clearly more interested in selling beer than they are in being friendly. Skip all the pasta dishes and instead sink your teeth into one of their creative brick-oven pizzas or sandwiches. Also, salads are way too big for the plates but if you pick the right one you can leave satisfied.
Very poor service – We ordered lunch from the office from the Park City Location. The food was decent but horribly over priced ($35.00 per person). Their staff was so rude we won't be back. Sad considering the door to our office isn't a hundred yards from them. We do lunch and working dinners quite often and a good relationship with them would have been beneficial for both of us. We will definatly work with someone else in the future.
Great anytime spot! – This place has the right atmosphere for the downtown crowd. The food and drinks are right on! Just make sure that if you intend to have mixed drinks you tell the hostess or you may end up sitting in the non-cocktail section!! Other than that - this place rocks!
Amazing food, awesome ambience with fantastic prices too! – A friend recommended this place to me and we decided to eat before seeing a show across the street. Parking wasn't too bad, but we did have to pay for it. Although the restaurant was busy, we were seated quickly.
The interior is hip and clean and very urban classy. Great for dates and adult gatherings. The menu was extensive and varied, lots of choices. Everyone in my party ordered different items and all of us were extremely pleased.
Onion Rings - HUGE platter, enough for 4 people!
Barbeque Chicken Pizza - delicious and enough for 2 people.
Scallops - tender, fresh and tasty.
Almond crusted trout - absolutely devine!
The horseradish mashed potatoes were unexpected, but very good! All of us in our party can't wait to return for the Almond Crust Trout and the mashed potatoes!
What a credit to the city and to them. Service was not perfect, but very adequate.
Great place, you won't be disappointed.
Menu covers a little bit of everything – We go to Red Rock about one a month and never get bored with it. There are always fish specials and the menu has a little something for everyone. It can get a little crowded on the weekends so try to visit during lunch or on a weekday. Service is fairly quick.
OK – I was surprised to find that the beer selection at RedRock is limited. I thought I would have more different beers to choose from since they're a brewery. I think they are more of a restaurant than and pub or brewery... I didn't get anything to eat last time we went, but my friends all say the food was ok; and while we shared a cheese dip appetizer, I found the bread was a bit stale and not evenly toasted.
The server was all right, but I wish he would be more friendly... he seemed to be a little angry at something when he brought our food and drinks.
I think this place is average at best.
Best Pub food in town – During my years of visiting Red Rock 3-4 times a year I have never had bad service or bad food. The Crusted Halibut is a must try!!!!!!!!! The best I have ever had, and prices are in the norm.
Busy fresh flavors – Always crowded, but that's because it's good. Inventive sandwiches, good grilled items, always an interesting seafood option. Excellent fries. Good home-brewed sodas and beer. Parking is tough and you'll have to pay for it with a bit of walk to the restaurant.
great place to meet up before the game – this is a great place to eat and meet friends up before the game, good food & good beer. Only down fall is parking sucks.
