Pretty but bland. While catering to a fancy high end clientele, Xiao fails to deliver on taste. And texture which is so important to the Chinese meal. I've gone here a number of times for business and found nothing memorable or worth recommending.

what happened?. I'd been here a couple times a couple years ago and it was great. But, recently I went again, and it was terrible. One of the few times I've ever sent a dish back at a restaurant.

Service was excruciatingly slow, despite the restaurant being only half full. It was one misstep after another. My partner and I were very unhappy afterwards. This restaurant no longer lives up to the awards that adorn its walls. Boo hiss.

Classy? More like crappy!. Worst Chinese food I have ever had. Over-priced, small portions, horrible service.

GOOD FOOD, GREAT PEOPLE. we were recommended by the hotel staff, the Peking Duck is a must try. I didn't know that the duck can be that juicy and crispy, personally I think a duck is good for three people.

The server was very attentive! I had really good experience!

how are you still in business?. The restaurant was basically full, but not overcrowded. We were a table of 4 and were sat immediately after a table of 2 and 8 gang unit police officers. By the time both of those tables had eaten, paid, and left we STILL did not have our food! It was almost 90 minutes before we were able to eat. A complaint to the manager ended up with him saying "too bad, we are busy". How can a place stay in business with that attitude directed to those who keep them there! We will NEVER go back again and will advise everyone we know not to even think of going there. Thankfully, there are MANY better places to eat asian cuisine!

Disappointing!. Very limited parking to start. We were seated promptly, but the server took over 10 minutes to acknowledge us. Forgot half of our drink order. The soup had no flavor and the dumplings were too salty compared to any other chinese restaurant I've been to. Everytime I looked at and called the server to refill our drinks, it was as if we were invisible. Way over rated!

Classy and unpretentious, this Chinese restaurant serves traditional cuisine made from family recipes.. The Scene
There is an understated blending of Chinese art into the contemporary setting. The arrangement of the wood tables and chairs and the absence of music are well suited to business meetings and quiet conversation.

The Food
Chef Lee Lei grew up in northern China and has developed his own techniques for preparing traditional Chinese fare, lending a unique style to his dishes. You can expect all the traditional favorites: Peking duck, sweet and sour pork and the happy family basket, a medley of chicken, seafood and vegetables in a potato basket. The spring rolls, lightly fried and served with a spicy ginger sauce, are a perfect starter. For a light meal, the wonton soup, brimming with shrimp and vegetables, can serve two. Lei selects his wines carefully to complement the flavors of the food.

Hell Yeah. We were on vacation our hotel recommanded the place... I have never been to a Chinese restaurant with this great service! It took a while to make our dishes. The server brought us some Hot and Sour soup which taste great!

I would surely come back again if I have a chance

Orange peel what?. I went to Xiou Li with an expectation for some great Chinese. I guess I should have set my expectations lower.....I think I had the orange peel beef, but who knows what that was. The "meat" was more like a chew toy. The quality was really low and the taste was more like burnt beef gravy. The service was excellent. I have to say that the staff was very kind and attentive. Too bac the food does not live up to the service.

The Best!. They have the best spring rolls! I would suggest making reservations for parties of 4 or more.
