Tops for Chinese American.
Xiao Li has taken a beating from that awful but stylish chain
P F Changs. It is always good. It is Cantonese Chinese American and as authentic as that can be. This is not a big market for real Chinese food and a real place would baffle the locals. Nice people in every capacity. I don't get complaints about price maybe these people should stick with Panda Express but that may be too expensive, just get a 39¢
taco and leave space for those who appreciate the good work of places like Xiao Li.
love it. my only complaint is that it's a bit drafty in there. we had the pork in garlic sauce and the chef's special noodles, both of which were delicious. we also tried the hot and sour soup and the egg drop soup. both were very good, and cheap at $1.50 a cup. it's a lovely space. it's not expensive. maybe people are too accustomed to cheap american-chinese food drenched in sickly-sweet sauces infused with red dye #5. or whatever. if you want good chinese food go to xiao li.
Not doin' it. Not sure why this place gets an editorial nomination? The thing I liked the most about Xiao Li was the fish tank in the entry - pretty cool. I wasn't however impressed with the food. We went with a large party, so we got to sample a lot of food dishes. The service was good, and the ambiance was nice, the food just wasn't doin' it for me.
Dessert a must!!!. My whole family went to Xiao Li for my graduation, the food was good, but the dessert is a must! We had the fried banana and it was so good! yummmi
Wow!. We were introduced to this restaraunt by my brother-in-law. The food and service were excellent. They had run out of the dessert we were interested in but everything else was the tops. Wonderful atmosphere.
