A casual place for hanging out with your favorite beverage or taking in the evening's entertainment..
The Scene
With the counter and kitchen area centrally located, the capacious room has a surprisingly intimate feel. Large windows overlook the street, and small wooden tables and chairs are
perfect for reading the paper and watching passers-by. Worn, overstuffed chairs are clustered near a bookcase and a large space is set aside for live entertainment.
The Food
Coffee is roasted on the premises, and the variety of coffee drinks is what you would expect to find in a quality coffeehouse. Tea drinkers will find a wide selection of black and herbal teas. Every day, the menu includes three breakfast croissants, five panini sandwiches and two soups. Veggie quiche and pasta salad are other options. While the soups and sandwiches are made on-site, the pastries are brought in. Muffins, scones, pie, cookies, cheesecake and ice cream are all available and are perfect complements to a hot cup of joe.…
Different. It's good to have a cup of coffee in a different type of coffee house once in a while.Their Service is very good and so is their "coffee"!
What a coffeehouse should be!. If I was to start my own coffeehouse, I'd use this place as a model. The coffee and the service is always top notch, and the atmosphere is great. There are plenty of tables, and it's quiet enough to enjoy the morning paper or to carry on a conversation. The background music (either live or recorded) is enjoyable, and a different artist is showcased each month. Keep up the good work Joe!…
Weekend morning coffee. I loved coming here on weekends for a cup of coffee with my mom. This part of town has a great modern, urban feel that you don't really get anywhere else in the city. The service at Cup of Joe is always really friendly and it's a perfect place for conversation or reading the paper on a Saturday morning.…
Forget Starbucks and Beans 'N Brews. Although this place is a bit thick sometimes with the beard-stroking, Kant-reading artsy types, it's a fantastic place to drink coffee and chat with your fellow patrons. Great coffee, a fun scene and a lot more spacious and easy to sink into than most other coffee shops around town. Coffee Garden may serve better Joe, but you can actually find a place to sit here.…
