The Scene – Multicolored streamers twirl from overhead ceiling fans, and bright Southwestern colors and patterns abound. Due to the loud buzz and large space this restaurant is known for, it's a great place for kids--no one notices when they're noisy. Cafe Pierpont WAS amazing but, unfortunantly they are no longer open. I went there 2 weeks ago and they have shut their doors. Just an FYI.
Great fun, friendly staff.

I've been to Cafe Pierpont on several occasions and have not been disappointed. I love the Baja Combo. And all the different salsas are good too. Last time there was with a group and the staff was attentive, friendly and checked back often. I'll go back.
- Pros: Fun and lively
Trendy, not real Mexican

The atmosphere is great and the kitchen looks like they know what they are doing. But when it's time for Mexican food I do not want a 20-something year old Caucasian saying "Hi, my name is ----- and I'm going to take care of you!" What is this- another chain restaurant?!?
The chips and salsa are good and it's great to try different salsas. It is also nice to sit outside on a summer day. The food is average to above average, just pricey for Mexican food.
- Pros: Atmosphere, Salsas, warm chips
- Cons: No authenticity, Pricey food and drinks
