Customer Service at its best!. I purchased a pair of Smith Ski goggles at another store becuase they were closer to the lifts and I needed a pair right away.

Turns out the goggles had a design flaw that Smith was nice enought to acknowledge and suggest a different model that was only $15 more.

I tried returning the defective pair to the other store (begins with L ends with y), but was told they have a strict policy on returns but that I could contact Smith myself.

Very frustrated I walked down to Jans and explained the problem with the goggles I had and asked for some advice. They recommended the exact same pair that Smith had recommended, so I bought them knowing I still needed to deal with the other goggles. While I was checking out they asked if I'd like them to return the pair THAT I HAD NOT BOUGHT FROM THEM to Smith and see what Smith would do. They had no obligation to do this except for a commitment to customer service.

I will recommend Jans to everyone I know.

Best mountain store in town!. Best place to go for anything that has to do with sports hands down! There products are high quality at a great cost...they are also quite fashionable. They also have a great selection of clothing for men, women and children. They people who work there are trained well, know a lot about the products and how they work. Every one was very nice and helpful they truly just want you to have a good time out there, not to mention Jans is locally owned!

Best Ski/Bike Shop in Park City. Jans Mountain Outfitters is the best ski and bike shop in Park City. Its knowledgable staff will help you in finding whatever you need. The mechanics who work in the bike shop are very friendly, interesting, and fun. Jans is also a huge part of the local community, they sponsor the annual 'Winter Welcome,' a fundraiser to bennefit the US Ski Team. Jans also supports their own competitive mountain biking team and a developmental mountain biking team called the Young Riders. With locations at Park City Mountain Resort and at Deer Valley Resort along with a shop on Mainstreet and the main store on Kearns Blvd., finding a reason not to rent from one is hard to find. Wether it is skiing or snowboarding in the winter, biking or flyfishing in the summer, Jans Mountain Outfitters is the best show for all of you needs.
