I expected more from Squatter's. I have eaten there several times since it opened. I really was excited, since Park City needs more casual dining and Squatters down town SLC is so great. I am really dissapointed in the variety on the menu and the prices are high for what you get. Come on, I know this could be better.
Good Nachos, bad service. You gotta love Full Suspention Pale Ale, but you don't have to love a lazy server that won't bring you a fork for your entree that the chef had to bring to your table while you can spy her sitting at the bar flirting with the line cooks. Good thing the nachos were good otherwise there is no reason for attempting to enjoy yourself in such an unfriendly place. Half-ass service seems to be acceptable to the management, good thing the euro's are used to not tipping because the lazy blonde girl doesn't deserve it.
not a good choice for breakfast. The breakfast menu at Roadhouse is very small and overpriced. Pancakes are $7. Want eggs? Add $4. Want bacon? Add $4. So for $15 you can get pancakes, eggs and bacon. This is not a fancy restaurant, just a diner off the highway. Go to Main street and get a better (and cheaper) breakfast at the Morning Ray.
Mediocre. This was our first stop in Park City. A very disappointing start. The food was pretty awful. The French onion was what seemed to be canned onion soup with (store bought type)croutons on top.
Good Food, So-so Atmosphere. My husband and I always make at least one trip to Mt. Air when we're in Park city. Pretty good food, lots of it, reasonable prices and okay service. Not the best place in Park City for breakfast, but if you're in a hurry, they're pretty fast.
The place to go for good old greasy Americana diner food..
The Scene
The Mount Air is a full-fledged dinercomplete with a bar, swiveling stools, walls lined with booths, and formica-topped tables. If you want Americana diner food, this is the place to come. It's a greasy spoon in the best sense of the phrase.
The Food
There's plenty of vitamin G (grease) in the standard breakfasteggs, sausage, hash browns, jam and toast with a cup of Joe out of the percolator. Omelets are another specialty. Or have a burger and fries. The ketchup sits right on the table next to the creamer, sugar, fake sugar, and salt and pepperit's good for either eggs or fries.
Diner-style breakfast. On weekends, there's usually a line for breakfast at this greasy spoon. It's not the cleanest of places, but the food is satisfying after a day of skiing in Park City.
