We have had Dr. Johnson as a doctor whenever we've lived in the area, and he is fantastic. My only complaint/concern is that his appointments are booked up months ahead of time, so if you have a bad flu or something more immediate, you're not going to get to see him. Jef Esquerra is amazing but he has moved down to Arizona. I have begun to see another doctor for more immediate issues, and schedule with Dr. Johnson to have physicals, well baby checks, etc.
Pros: Johnson has terrific "bedside manner," remembers your name & issues
Cons: Other staff just OK, hard to get in to see Johnson in timely manner

I love the crew at Mountain Peaks! Vaughn Johnson is amazing and so kind. I love having him as my family practitioner. When I have to get in right away nobody can beat seeing Jef. They are truly the best of the best!! A+++++
Pros: Friendly, caring, always on top of everything
Cons: The front desk staff and office manager are not that great, but will put up with to work with Jef and Vaughn
