Dry Cleaning does use a liquid but it isn’t wet meaning that it does not contain any moisture/water. This means that it is designed to remove dry side stains like wax, oils, grease, cosmetics ect.. so while it will penetrate and remove these it will not dissolve wet side stains like food mud ketchup ect... these stains must be removed using steam or spotting chemicals prior to and sometimes after the dry-cleaning process. This also means that if you put an aspirin pill in your pocket the dry-cleaning solvent will not break it down. It will not dissolve like it would if you placed it in a glass of water or in your washing machine since pills are designed to break down in water. Same as a ketchup stain it would be removed with steam fairly easily depending on the fabric it was on. Country Cleaners does clean. And they do clean a lot of my clothes if you have any question of this I’m sure if you go there you can see for yourself as the whole front of the building is glass so you can see them pressing and cleaning the clothes from the parking lot.
Country Cleaners Doesn't Clean! – When you think of the term "Dry Clean" you may think that your clothes don't get wet, but they do, just not with water, They use a solvent, when someone told me about Country Cleaners and how cheap they were, I decided to give them a try, when I got my tan wool pants back, I knew that they had not been cleaned, only pressed, (which is pretty gross) there were still little speckles of Ketchup that I splattered on them, I took a damp cloth and wiped the speckles off, I decided to give them another try, this time I put an asprin in my pocket which would surely disolve in the dry cleaning solution, well, I got my pants back today with an asprin tablet still intact! its easy to be cheap when you don't actually do what your sign says you do! I thought that MAYBE, one pair of pants accidently got missed, but to use them twice and have my pants not cleaned? I will go back to my little Korean dry cleaning establishment, they charge more, but they actually CLEAN the clothes and do a great job and are very friendly....they are called Comet Cleaners on 54th and Redwood! Use THEM not COMET! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED COUNTRY CLEANERS! I am shocked that you are getting away with that!
Unrespectful-Avoid Country Cleaners. – Dear to whoever it may concern,
This so called cleaners are not as well as it may portray.
When i took a certain coat to the Country Cleaners located in Sandy, They gave me back my coat looking worse than when i took it there. I asked them why in the world is my coat messed up as it is? They answered back that they could do nothing about it and left me angry and upset.
This business is a rip off, horrible service and will not repsect what we take there.
As i was explaining earlier...the reason i had gotten mad was because there was a button that had broke off and i asked them if i could get it fixed, replaced etc. They said they couldn't do anything, but instead they just merely glued it back on. Yet this did not satisfy me, and it may just break off sooner or later. Still they say again they cannot do anything about it and they said that they can't guarantee that it would stay on.
If you really wan't to keep your clothes in good shape please do NOT take it to the Country Cleaners.
Their address is 1289 E 8600 S Sandy, UT 84094.
They did not respect me as a customer. And they didn't do anything but merely glue back on a button.
so again please do not go to this cleaner. It is NOT worth your time.
