Tips for Willow Creek Dog Training Ctr

PuppyLovertimes10, that's interesting because I've known Lee for years--she trained our dog, and did an amazing job--and the only people who ever find her "difficult" are the ones who have bad attitudes or are too hard on their dogs. Just something you might want to think about.

I accidentally came across this page and I for one will agree completely that Lee Prince is a nightmare to work with. I wouldnt let any of my animals near this woman again. I am not related to her and the knowledge I have of her is at Willow Creek. Think twice before ever having her anywhere around your pet.

the truth about terrible trainer. I am one of the dog training instructors at Willow Creek Pet Center. I recommended someone for employment at Willow Creek Pet Center, first in the clinic and then as a training apprentice. Despite lots of effort from the staff, things did not work out and the she is no longer working for us. This review was written by a relative who is angry over her sister's departure, presuming incorrectly that Lee had something to do with it. The review is vengeful and no credence should be given to what was said. Lee is a valued member of our team at Willow Creek and very popular with her students. She receives consistently positive and enthusiastic reviews. I would be happy to have any one of my own dogs in her classes.

Trainer Controversies. Wow, in the 15 years I have known Lee Prince I have never seen the negative qualities that Abuck mentions. Lee is a great trainer--I always use many of the easy and effective things she has taught me, with my own dogs. Lee loves people and dogs and takes special satisfaction in supporting and improving their relationships. She is never harsh or cruel or unkind--to either species. I figure that when people get so vicious and negative about others, it is saying more about them than the people they're targeting. The easiest and best thing to do will be to go observe Lee in action in one of her classes--then you'll know that Abuck's assertions are completely groundless.

MAKE YOUR PUPPY'S SATURDAY SPECIAL. I just read abuck4's account of Puppy Playtime at WCPC, and feel I must reply. We have attended this socialization class for more than 6 months & our poodle pup LOVES it. Yes water spray bottle are used by both owners and staff inorder to clam down the puppies who become too excited but not squirted in the face. No owner who saw treatment of this sort would bring their pet back.

Lee is always in control of the class and that includes pups and owners (not an easy task). If you need extra help or have questions, she is alway there to help even after class. We have taken obedience class from Lee and I am very impressed with her knowledge and tempermdent. I know not everyone has the same experiences but it is hard to balance such negitive views with what my husband and I have witnessed.

So make your puppy's Saturday special and bring him/her to PUPPY PLAYTIME at WCPC.

Interesting.... I just have to say that everyone is getting bent out of shape because I disliked the training style of their buddy. Fact is, a review is a personal opinion based on one's personal experience. I still stand by my opinion, and when I originally called in to Donna to complain, it was based on my own personal interactions. My sister was then fired because of an opinion I had that was completely unrelated to her feelings for Lee. Wrongful termination? I think so. All of my sister's performance "issues" were based on things that Lee said about her... interesting. Did Donna ever have personal issues with her? Yes, once. Except it was her aunt who had an issue with her.. interesting. Then Martine finds out about the reviews I put online and tells my sister that she can't come back to her apprenticeship that she has been doing for 2 years, after being a star student in her CGI class, and being supposedly friends. I just think the whole thing has been dealt with unprofessionally and it is extremely disappointing. If Donna had said to me that my opinion was valid and hadn't yelled at me about my sister's employment (it was inappropriate to discuss that with anyone but the employee) then maybe I wouldn't have felt the need to review her poorly and it would have ended there. So go ahead and reap what you've sewn, thanks for banning me, I hope you can all be happy with yourselves. I would seriously reconsider doing business with Willow Creek were I you, obviously the customer is not always right! (there are a few trainers I still really really love, but I'm not allowed to take classes from them so... here you go)

My dogs love them!. My dogs love to go here! When they go to any other vet my dogs shake in fear. At Willow Creek they wag their tails when we drive up. We have always received high quality veterinary care with genuine concern and friendly service. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Love these guys!

Dont Board your dog here.. They dont keep food records. They give them a few min's chance to eat and if they dont then its taken away.

If you take a blanket or bed, they wont use it. They say they will, but they dont. My dog came home with sore elbows from sleeping on a concrete floor. I told them he needed an orthopedic bed and they assured me. I know, If he had the choice there is no way he would have chosen the floor as it it painful for him.

It took him 2 weeks to gain the weight back that he lost while at Willowcreeks boarding. I dont know if its a management problem, or what, but the boarding is run like a 3 ring circus. The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. Its too bad because the facility itself is top notch.

Outstanding Excellent Care - Cannot say thanks enough. We have know Dr. Campbell and the staff at Willow Creek for nearly 20 years. During that time we have experienced Willow Creek's excellent medical care for our pets. 4 dogs and 2 cats. The dog training classes were fun and very helpful, and the groomers have been very good also.

One thing that has been consistent is the compassionate care that has been given to us and our pets. Just a week ago i took one of our Carin Terriers in to see Dr. Campbell. I was sure that it was hopeless and would soon lose my little friend. He is now getting stronger and recovering thanks to the skill and compassion of Dr. Campbell, who wasn't ready to give up on him.

We really can not say thanks enough! One thing that I especially appreciate is the time that Dr. Campbell or his fellow Doctors have taken to explain things and answer all of our questions.

Excellent Pet Care, Caring Staff. Willow Creek Pet Center is the best pet care we have ever received. I can't begin to explain the kindness, caring and professional service we have received here.

We have four pets of our own and several pets of friends that have been going here for the last four years. Their prices are comparable to other local veterinary clinics.

My daughters 80 pd dog (10 months old) was recently in a horrible accident. We rushed him to Willow Creek badly hurt and bleeding. They were so kind, they took him straight to the back and stabilized him. He needed surgery the next day. His leg was broken in several places and he received a metal plate with a lot of pins. Four hours of surgery! This dog is my daughters much beloved baby. They were so kind and compassionate throughout the whole ordeal. After the surgery they offered us three days of complimentary boarding so his leg would heal properly. We called during the day and during the night to see how he was doing. They were always very nice about the calls, friendly and caring.

I have several other experiences with their amazing staff and Veterinarians but it would take up to much space here. Willow Creek is super friendly, caring and knowledgeable. I've been to many other veterinary clinics in this area and other area's and these guys are the best hands down. Love them!
