Crappy Service. We had a tv to be repaired, a tech came to our home and gave us a diagnotic of a bad board, this was a Tuesday, was told they would order it in. Then the owner called and said the tv had to come to the shop, someone would pick it up first thing Saturday morning. Waited most of Saturday and no pickup, finally called and was told it would not be until Monday. I asked how long to fix our tv and was told curtly he had no idea. I said it could be weeks? months? years? he said he had no idea but probably 2 weeks. Tv was at shop for week and half then finally they bring it back...with no power cord. They insisit I had the cord, but I did not, I explained we would not hide the power cord to our Tv, the tech drove back to shop and came back with a cord and .....shocking part now....MY TV DOES NOT WORK. Black screen. Was told they would order another part... a week goes by and I figure at this point I am done. I phoned owner and asked for refund of the $100 I had paid so far and was told that I had to be charged a service fee. I as kindly as I could explained there had been no service, so I am basically being charged for a visit with the tech?? He said he would have the tech call me. No call yet I guess maybe he is not working either.

great service and price. I have been a customer of Alpine Electronics for years, they have great , fast and good pricing.

I needed a data recovery, few days ago they recovered my data within a same day, when other places had told me it would take weeks and over $1000.00.

Thanks Alpine

Don't risk it. I dropped my laptop computer off with my powercord on a Saturday at Alpine Electronics. I had a business meeting in Atlanta and needed to take the laptop with me. I picked up the computer on Saturday just before they closed.

When I arrived home I looked at my laptop sitting on my carseat and I realized they had not given me the power supply. They were closed and my flight was the next day on Sunday morning. I frantically tried to find a powersupply. I finally found one at radio shack which cost me about $80.00 but quit working two days later.

I took my laptop back into Alpine electronics and told them that they had not given me the powersupply on the day I picked it up. The employee who had helped me on that Saturday was there and he said he distinctly remembered he had given the powersupply and proceeded to tell me that I was wrong. He couldn't even acknowledge there was a possiblity he may not have given it to me and was very argumentative.

The owner found a powersupply cord that would work, (likely my powersupply since it has a very specific end). He told me that I could take this one but asked me to bring it back if I happened to find my powersupply. I said I did not receive it one more time and that I would appreciate if there was some acknowledgement that there was a possibity this could be true. The employee said no he couldn't because I would be calling him a liar.

I could have easily understood if somehow my cord had been misplaced since I couldn't pick it up the day after I left it there. No acknowledgement of the possiblity that this could have happened and no apology for my inconvience was shocking.

Its too bad because up until this point I had been happy with their prior services. It's too bad one employee can ruin someones business and their reputation.
