Amazing!. This is my favorite place to get Sushi! My wife and I come here at least 2-3 times a month not only for the amazing food, but the prices are unbeatable. The sushi rolls that we get every time are: California Roll, Crunchy Roll and the Las Vegas Roll. They even have very good food for those who don't like fish; it's called their Chicken Teriyaki Bowl. It only costs like $6-7 and is a very generous size portion for the price. The couple who owns it takes very good care of their customers, the restaurant and the food. The owner and operator use to work at many of the expensive asian/shushi places in the valley, so therefore is very experienced with a high level of understanding of sushi. My wife and I went last weekend and got soup, salad, 6 dumplings, 3 sushi rolls and 2 drinks for $25. I recommend this place to everyone.

very disappointed. I don't get why there are so many good reviews for this place. It was ok at best. It was fast though. I was quite disappointed. Definitely not flavorful or unique in any way.

SImple, Inexpensive, & Excellent. Discovered this place several years ago. It is a small strip mall like cafeteria that has some of the best sushi and sashimi in Utah. It is definitely a real japanese restaurant. This place has zero pretense, and everybody seems to be welcome here. No alcohol is served here, but the excellent food and the green tea are just fine, and probably a good thing for me, as I live at the other end of the valley.

Best Sushi in Utah!. Sushi Express is right near my house in Sandy. It is hands down the best sushi I have ever had in Utah or in California. Its nearly impossible to find good seaweed but Sushi Express does it best!! It's way better than Mikado and if you are unfamiliar with how to eat sushi or what to get the friendly staff and chef will be more than happy to teach you everything you need to know! The best part is, it's reasonably priced you can get sushi anytime you want. Sushi Express is in it for the service not nessecarily the money.

Excellent sushi at great prices. Easily the best little sushi place in town. It's not fancy like Ichiban but the owner is legendary, the sushi is always flawless and the folks are really nice too. On top of that, the prices are best in town so you can order MORE!

It's in a little strip mall, doesn't serve beer or wine and is not cozy but it is bright and clean.

I've been sending friends there for years and it gets 100% happy feedback.

best hole in the wall I've ever been to, best sushi hands down. sushi express , although a small hole in the wall restaurant, is the best sushi restaurant that we have found.Seating is limited but in the many times that we've been there we only had to wait once for a seat and it was well worth it. The sushi is always fresh and service friendly. My favorites are the tuna sashimi and the las vegas rolls,everything we've tried has been outsstanding. I highly recommend this place to anyone that knows anything about quality sushi..........both thumbs up to Sushi Express:)

Excellent Sushi!. Although not the most convenient of places, well worth a trip out. (even if you live very far away) Authentic Sushi, experienced and extremely friendly staff.

Salt Lakes dark little sushi secret. Who knew?

I did! I followed the owner/chef Tak-san from his day at Sakura Sushi!

Superior Sushi & Service. The owner & staff are courteous & concerned about your experience. The sushi chefs are knowledgable. The sushi is fresh & tastes great. This restaurant is a gem hidden in a strip mall.
