Mizumi Sushi Bar & Grill

Looove it~. We've been here several times over the last year or so, and we love it! Staff is all super friendly and the sushi is really good to the point where I crave it endlessly. If you hit it during happy hour (which lasts until about seven, I think?) the prices are definitely not bad at all. The sashimi always looks really awesome and the non-sushi food is really good as well. This is where my husband and I go when we want a really special treat.

The only thing they could do better would be to offer dessert--mochi ice cream would be the absolute perfect way to end a meal at Mizumi!…

Best sushi in the Valley!. I recently visited Mizumi because it had been recommended by a very picky friend. I was greeted at the door by the owner, with a very enthusiastic smile, and contagious laugh I might add. The décor is simple and inviting. The prices are very reasonable, compared to other sushi restaurants in the area and downtown as well. I ordered some sashimi – chefs discretion, and what a great choice! Absolutely divine! Fresh, and beautifully presented. It looked like a work of art. I had to take a picture of it before I ate it! I also enjoyed some of their signature rolls; the MJ was very nice as was the jalapeno roll. They will make it spicy if you like, or mellow if your more conservative on that point. I was pulled into engaging conversation by the sushi chefs, and the fellow diners at the sushi bar. There is plenty of seating, including an outdoor patio I will try in the spring. If you want to sit at the bar, there may be a short wait as this exquisite restaurant is becoming quite popular. An absolute must for sushi lovers across the valley!…

Mouthwatering sushi with right at home service!. Walking into Mizumi is liking walking into a friend’s house for dinner. The owners and staff are the friendliest I have come across. . From the time you walk in, you feel like you belong. There is always a very fun and social atmosphere at the sushi bar. I have met people there that travel from North Salt Lake to Provo that make this place a ‘regular’. The fish is fresh and leaves your mouth watering for more, not to mention the impeccable art of the sushi chef. If you crave a roll you don’t see on the menu, no worries, they will make up anything that you would desire, or inspire, with your favorite tastes. Come with an appetite, and expect a very friendly upbeat atmosphere – and yes, they will remember you when you come back! I am almost reluctant to tell others about this gem. I would prefer it to be Sandy’s best kept secret!.…

best sushi and awesome happy hour. awesome sushi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 happy hours are best in town. portions are great and fish is always fresh..... cozy & friendly environment. I came and tried to couple of times and now I am one of their regulars....

I can see why it's called "cheers of sushi bar" everyone remembers your name and your food......

price is right on... not too pricy like other places.
