Had to replace the front windshield of my truck. Work was done quickly. Happy with job. Have also used them for rock chips on my wife's car on the "lifetime rock chip repair" service.
Fast, friendly and prompt. Scheduled my appointment and was in and out in less time than they said it would take. Will go here for all my glass needs. Thanks for awesome service.
I had a fabulous experience with techna glass! They came to my work and replaced my windshield which was awesome. I had some air leakage and they got me in right away and fixed the problem no hassel. I am very excited about the free rock chip repair for life. What a deal!!! Zach was wonderful to work with and very friendly! Thank you Techna Glass!
Literally the worst business I know of and I've never said that before. Travis, a VP of the company, was one of the rudest people I have ever dealt with and made both my husband and I cry on separate occasions because of how rude he was. These people absolutely do not care about their customers.
Had the best price in town, and when I had to reschedule at the last minute they said no problem and didn't charge me any extra fees. Technician was very friendly and did a competent job.
Big Company Has Great Customer Service – I got my window bashed out at the Football game and drove right over to Techna Glass on State and I-80 without an appointment. The manager came out to look at the window and made a call right then. 15 minutes later a van came pulling-up and delivered the window. They had already pulled out and vacuumed up all the little broken pieces of glass so the installation was quick. I was in and out so fast that I was perfectly pleased with Techna Glass. It was total satisfaction for me to have the problem solved within an hour. I was thankful for such great customer service and professionalism.
Horrible service. Skip these guys! – For what it's worth... Techna Glass (auto repair glass center) in Salt Lake City is absolutely the worse business I've ever encountered. Please do not consider using them for any glass repair. You'll end up regretting the decision as I have. The management is inept, does not return phone calls, does not value their customers, most of their installers do a super half-ass job and their quality of product is dismal. A better choice is Diamond Glass.
Seriously? – I had to replace the passenger side window. they were able to do it the same day, so I took it in today. After nearly 2 hours I was excited to finally hear my name called. As I went out to my van, I noticed the outside trim had several new scratches, but I figured it was not too bad. I had vacuumed the van out the day before, but there were still several glass pieces, but I was told they would vacuum everything. When they finished, I noticed several glass pieces still in the van, then more under the wad of paper dirty towels left in the car. I also noticed more glass pieces in the window trim. I picked them out with a small stick and card. They were closing so I figured I could clean it up. No biggie. I then tried to roll it up and it did not work. They took it back in when I asked why the plastic moisture protector that goes inside the door was in the back seat. The guy said it is not needed and waded it up to throw it away. I asked for it back and asked if they could put it back in since they had to take the panel off again to find out why the window would not roll up. It only took about 5 minutes and it turned out the plug was not connected. This time I had them put the plastic trim back on the door as well.
All of the employees were very nice, so it was hard to complain about all the glass and after all, they quickly fixed their mistake on the window. It was after 6 and they were all ready to leave or I would have asked them to vacuum all the glass and maybe wipe down the dash that still had small glass pieces all over. I just decided to leave and clean it up myself.
As I shut the door, it sounded like an old slot machine paying out. The door is FULL of glass pieces. It seriously sounds like a bag of coins in the door. Not only does it make a huge sound when the door shuts, but when I drive over bumps. Awesome. You can also hear hard scratching when the window goes up and down like the new window or the bracket inside is scratching on glass pieces. The inside door panel is pretty jacked up as well. It does not line up. I was able to pop some things back into place, but it still does not line up.
I would not recommend them, at least for door windows.
They Saved My Day! – As I was driving a huge rock hit my windshield and instantly cause a crack from one side to the other. I drove directly over to Techna Glass on 90th. I had no appointment and needed it done on the spot. I asked for the manager and Jason came out of the shop to greet me. I asked him if he could put in a new windshield at a moments notice. I received a huge smile and a no problem answer. It seemed like a few minutes and my car was ready to go. I said thanks for saving my day, because I was on my way to deliver the car to it's new owner and I didn't want anything to stop the sell because of the broken windshield. Everything worked out fine thanks to Techna Glass.
A Great Big Thank You – I took my Ford Mustang in to Techna Glass to get a side window installed. My car is an old classic and I don't like anyone ripping into the door. I watched the guy take his time to disassemble the door to get to the window. After a few minutes, I stopped being so concerned, because every move he made was the right one. He showed patience and skill as he installed the piece of glass. I appreciated the good work and I didn't feel like I was a number being rush through the process.
