Over rated

We went to Carvers last night for the first time. We were very dissapointed. My husband had prime rib. It was very very thinly sliced and was not cooked properly. I had the filet mignon which was burnt on the outside, not cooked how I had ordered it and was so salty that I couldn't really get the taste of the meat. The servcie was very poor. Our waitress never refilled our water glasses and seemed to be to busy to both with us.

• Cons: Poor service

It was alright.

Great ambience for sure! But I wasn't too impressed by their prime rib, it lacked flavor.. I didn't like the horseradish sauce, I'd prefer actual horseradish. But everything else was great. Great service, great atmosphere.

amazing steaks and service

Brought my girlfriend here for a special evening and we were amazed at the service (Jill is AWESOME) and the fantastic food. Best steak I've ever had, seriously. I've been to Spencers before and I think my steak was as good if not better plus I paid a third as much. Carvers is now one of our favorite places.

• Cons: really can't think of any.
