Pet Planet is Awesome!. The owner of Pet Planet has always been helpful and friendly, quite knowledgeable about the animals he sells. The store isn't dirty, and it doesn't reek. I have been to plenty of pet stores and that's what it smells like. I have had things I had to return before and was quite pleased with how well I was treated, they swapped the product out right away with no hassles and continued to offer the same great service every time I go in there. If the owner doesn't have what I need, he will tell me where I can go to get it, and that is the kind of service you don't find at many pet stores!…
Stay Clear of this Disaster!.
Salesman/ owner will do anything to get you out of the store with a bag full of dying animals. The store is dirty and the animals look as if they are on the verge of being sent to a shelter to be
rehabilitated! I was told much false information in regards to the animals I was interested in. The store isn't clean and the prices are not very competitive. It seems like it used to be better, but I think they have a new owner or something and the guy is just in it for the money.
If you want to fill your fish tank with zombie dying fish, aiptasia, or other disease, this is the place for you!…
pet planet's great selection of tropical fish. This store has the best selection of tropical fish in the south valley that I've found. I won't waste my time at walmart, petco, or petsmart anymore. Very competitive prices. Their staff were very friendly and helpful. Their store smells like a pet store not a french boutique. A writer of a previous review has never been to an animal shelter to rescue a pet, get a whiff of real pet odor! Small animals and fish are susceptible to a variety of ailments that are sometimes out of a store's control. As for my experience, all ten tropical fish that I bought are still alive and thriving! I have recommended this store to family members and friends.…
Buyer Beware!. We bought a kitten at Pet Planet one week ago. He was six weeks old. My husband and I went in to the store separately because my son threw up when we tried to take him in the store due to the smell. That should have been a warning sign for me. They quoted us two prices for him...my husband getting a better deal by $10 making him $45.. He is such a sweet cat, but soon after we got him home he started having problems. First he had ear mites that needed to be treated. They gave him his first shots at the store, but the vet said that if they get shots before 8 weeks they need to have them done again because the mother's antibodies are still in the kitten making the vaccsination useless. He has had a bloated stomach we have been watching and today he started having bloody diahrrea. I'm so frustrated as my children are now attached to a sick kitten! What a dissapointing experience. I should have done more homework beforehand. I will be calling the store tomorrow to see how they handle this. I shouldn't have had to pay for a sick animal that I now have to invest in healthcare for!…
Yuck. Under new ownership. Smells bad and they don't keep the animals clean. Especially the ferrets. But their prices are pretty good. Just make sure you don't have to return anything. Because then they are complete jerks and they won't work with you. They hung up on me and I wasn't even mad! I was just trying to ask a question. The guy who runs it seems a little unwell and overly stressed.…
