O'Shucks saved my LIFE.
I needed a burger and a cold beer. I needed them bad. And I was in Utah. Whatever, I always like a challenge.
So I hit Main Street, and after the 3rd jewelry store, I was losing hope (I later learned PC was once a silver mining boomtown. True Story). Suddenly, O'SHUCKS. Bar & Grill. Tears were very nearly shed.
I went inside, and found the locals tipping back GIANT MUGS OF BEER and eating fat, delicious burgers. It turned out said giant mugs were only $3. Hallelujah!
Trashy. trashy, disgusting and dirty. Employees are are nasty and the place is gross. Avoid at all cost. All tourists beware this place is the worst, scummy place in Utah.
Your typical Main Street pub--with peanuts..
The Scene
Want peanuts? Be sure to visit O'Shucks, where the salted-in-the-shell variety is always free and plentiful. When you're done, just chuck the shucks on the floor. O'Shucks is open 365 days a year, and is great for late-night dining (the grill is open until 1am). In the summer, dine under the stars on the heated patio.
The Draw
There is plenty of draft beer to go along with your nuts; O'Shucks has 18 beers available on tap or to go in a growler. O'Shucks is a private club, so get a sponsor or buy a membership. Hungry? Try the marinated chicken sandwich. O'Shucks also has a vegetarian menu and lots of food specials, including great lunch bargains and Fat Thursday--New Orleans-style food in a Cajun atmosphere.
Cold Beer, Great Times. O'Shucks Bar & Grill on Main Street in Park City was the highlight of our visit to Utah. Cetainly the friendliest folks we found. A huge selection of ICE COLD BEER, and great bartenders made our visit a blast. The Garlic Burger was awesome. The walls of the bar are filled with skis from every era, and also include a memorial to a deceased local. The place appears to be the real skiers boardroom. The chatter bounced between NFL rivalries, and the record snow year everyone craves. The batenders kept the place rocking with tunes from the Dead to AC/DC...........quite a mix! They even gave a sincere thank you to us as we left. Don't miss this place.
