The Scene
From the outside, Beauty and the Beast looks as unassuming as any other building on State Street. But walk inside and find an exotic atmosphere marked by lush plants and colorful decor. A friendly staff member will welcome you and give you a tour of the spa's circular design, complete with a sunny, full-service salon and multiple treatment rooms. Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome.
The Services
If you're in the mood for something unusual, choose from a long list of curious-sounding treatments. Try the Body Contouring Treatment, in which slimming products are massaged into your body's problem areas--it's unique to Beauty and the Beast. The spa is also one of the only places in the state to offer detoxifying lymphatic drainage and light therapy. More familiar offerings include body peels, hydrotherapy treatments and clay toning masques, and many treatments can be paired with a Vichy shower, or high-powered water massage.

Horrible!! My hair is ruined. I had to get the color fixed. The lady that did my hair had red hair. She was rude the whole time, and very expensive. I would not recommend this place to anyone!!!

When I went to the Beauty and the Beast spa, I was getting a full face wax. Not only did the esthetician do a great job, she answered all of my questions and even told me what to do for my home skin care. I love how the staff are very friendly with you and very knoweledgeable as well. I'll definetely be going back.
