Great place to play!. I have been going to Hastur for a good 13 years now. They have plenty of tables to play at for free and they are even willing to post your event to drum up new players for you. The staff is very helpfull and if you do have any problems, the owner is more than happy to personally hear you out. They have a huge selection of comics and games and if they dont have it they will get it for you.

Not worth the stop. I visited Hastur after reading the reviews here. I hate to say that I was disappointed.

PROS-

Variety of games to shop. Half-decent atmosphere. A few helpful employees.

CONS-

PRICE- Especially for MTG, its near price-gouging. SELECTION- The MTG singles available at this location are minimal, and overpriced. CUSTOMER SERVICE- I have worked customer service for years, and if my employees acted this way at my business they wouldn't have jobs. I felt like I was constantly inconveniencing most of the employees. I did have a good experience during one visit with a gentlemen who uses a cane. he was very helpful.

My biggest disappointment at Hastur was the selection of MTG singles and the prices of cards. Lets face it, customer service at hobby shops hasn't ever been stellar. However, that does not mean that it isn't still bad customer service.

I love hasturs :). The people are the most friendly and knowledgeable people i've ever met working at a card shop. My first day in there I knew no one and by the time I had left, I had made 5 new friends. Its a great, open, casual environment that has assisted me in becoming a much better magic player. Friday night magic is challenging and exciting as well.

This Place is Great. Wasn't sure what to expect here after reading the other reviews but was I surprised :). This place has everything. More games in stock, more variety, and everything I was looking for. Great place to get what you need when you need it.

Very Poor Service. I went to the store to get a game and there were obviously several employees doing nothing and when I asked for help they made me feel like I was a bother. I am a customer! The place is not pleasant and they didn't help me so I won't be back.

Dark and Smelly, but its a Game Store. They have a good selection of CCG's and sell individual Magic cards. I just get in, get what I want and get out. Not a place to hang out (unless you into LAN gaming), but they give me what I want.

M's Review. I'm a gamer and visit most of the stores in the valley and Hastur was by far the worst in service and price. The coustemers in the store where rude, the place smelled and I had to almost yell at the employee to get his attention off his friend to help me. That is unacceptable! The store has great potental but it needs a major management rework.

Nice Store Horrid Service. A big hobby store with potental but horrid service and prices! They say open gaming but they lie! You have to reserve a table if you want to play. Nice lan network, but always crowded and overun with smelly gamers.
