Rice King Restaurant

Many horrible experiences! Do not go here!. We have had a horrible experience every time we order from this restaurant. The food is horrible but cheap. Everytime we get it I swear it will be the last time. But then I decide to try it again. Last night we ordered dinner at 645 pm. They told us it would take 1 hr to deliver to our house, however, it actually took 1hr 45 mins! I called and they said, "The driver is on his way!" We got our food 35 mins later and it was cold! Can you believe it? Cold! They cooked it when we ordered it and then took forever to deliver it! I couldnt even eat it! It was cold and stale. I called and demanded a refund. I was told a manager would call me back, which of course didnt happen! I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone! Instead try the Szechuan Restaurant on about 1300 east and 8600 South. Great food and great personal service!!!!

Non traditional service may be better. Non traditional service may be better. The food is honestly good. At lunch time you can get soup, soda, and your entrée for a total of $5.00. Portions are large and filling. I tend to get the lunch special number five; Shrimp chow mein. All lunch and dinner specials come with fried rice and an egg roll.

The non traditional service is to come and sit where you choose. On my second visit the waitress already knew what soda I preferred.

I frequent Rice King at least twice a month. I have yet to find a Chinese restaurant that I enjoy more, and you cannot beat the price.

This restaurant is closed on Sundays so plan to go any other time. This restaurant will also deliver!…

Miserably bad service!. This place has the worst service of any restaurant I've ever been to. If they aren't forgetting your order, they're just so slow that you can't get in and get a takeout order in time to actually eat it during your lunch hour. They have two people doing the work of eight.…

Love the food!!!. My husband and I are big fans of this place and have been coming here for almost 3 years. Lunch is wonderfully priced. The sweet and sour soup is the best. Service is wonderful when it is slower. Very clean and friendly waitstaff. My favorite is the Sesame Chicken...although, the sauce has changed over time and so has the portion...but for lunch, it's still perfect!…
