GROSS!. The food was disgusting, we were both ill afterwards! Why was the hollandaise sauce cheese colored? Why did they use cheap pizza sauce as the "salsa" for the spanish omelette... and what was even in that omelette? Why do the potatoes look like they were scraped up off the floor? This is the WORST breakfast place we have been to, and we will NEVER be back!

We recommend:

Penny Ann's

Blue Plate Diner

and even Village Inn and Denny's over this place!

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go be sick in the restroom for a while.... blegh!

Belgian Waffle & Omelet Inn. The Belgian Waffle has been in buisness since 1979, as long as I have lived here, but it has not grown with time. Im no miss priss and not a negative person. But instead of growing up it has just gotten old. I would love to go in and overhaul almost all of it, but not the thing that has kept it going all this time. The Belgian Waffle is a place of many good memories for alot of people, from being a child going with you mom and dad and grandparents, to going with your school friends, with your boyfriends or girlfriends, to reuniting with you old friends or even meeting new friends. Thats why the people come back, its good memories. But I realy feel that will not keep it going. The food and the way is it prepared needs to be renued. People are much more comcerned about their health and the food needs to reflect that. menue needs lots work. I would love to share with you a new and improved Belgian Waffle, keeping the memories going adding new ones in a clean, fresh customer oriented atmosphere. (would't you) Owners start listening you us, your bread and butter won't last like this. I wish all the best for you, don't you?

GARBAGE!. The worst food I have ever been served anywhere, in my entire life. Any positive review of this place must be written by either a friend of the owner or someone high on drugs. This place is a run-down, dirty sh!thole and serves food to match.

The waffles were cold, soggy and looked and tasted like they were extremely stale, extremely freezer-burned toaster waffles. Considering that they were square and attached, they probably were. I've tried my share budget syrups and none of them come close to being as awful as Belgian Waffle Inn's.

Both link and patty sausages were just as bad as the waffles. Stale, charred black and the worst quality I have ever tasted. I wouldn't feed them to a starving dog.

Nothing positive to say about the "hash browns". They were pretty much a huge pile of boiled, soggy potato mush that was a tiny bit charred on the outside. But 99% soggy mush.

There's no excuse, at any price, for the horrendously crappy food they serve and charge money for here. If I were homeless, I'd probably rather eat out of a dumpster than the Belgian Inn.

This place should be ashamed to charge money for the crap they serve to paying customers. The world's worst cook should be grateful he has a paying job.

If it weren't the middle of the night and we weren't too exhausted to drive around looking for someplace that was still open on a weeknight, we would have left, without paying, after the first bite.

Server was friendly.

I have never given a 1-star review to a restaurant that doesn't have bad service and food. Belgian Inn's food has established a new all-time bottom standard.

Not the Best. My husband and I visited this restaurant on May 5th, 2010 at around 7pm. The service we received was OK. There was no hostess at the front counter when we walked in so we had to move slightly into the restaurant before we were noticed and were seated.

The service was quick, we only waited about 10 minutes for our food to be cooked and delivered to us. But when we got our food there were some issues with it.

The french toast I got was smothered in butter. I took more than half of it off and placed it in a napkin. The eggs I ordered were drenched in oil. I couldn't make myself eat them, it was disgusting. I ordered a side of strawberries and since it was May I was expecting fresh strawberries. Instead I got canned strawberries. They looked like what you would put in a pie. My husband ordered cheese fries and they were very greasy and tasted "off".

When we checked out I told the cashier that the food was 'ok'. She said 'oh well that's good. It's just food. As long as it fills the belly.' Not the response I was expecting. I wish she had showed more concern about our experience and maybe asked details. like 'oh, just ok? Was there anything wrong?'

I don't think we are going to go back there. Not when we can pay the same price at IHOP and get better food.
