BEST IN THE VALLEY!. You can not beat absolutely wonderful food, fast friendly service! Gotta try the 3 smotherd burrito plate with lots of cheese and onions! Margaritas are "muy bueno" and yummy fried ice cream! Sylvestres has been our favorite since I was in a high chair, and now I bring my kids. You can't get the same quality anywhere else!

Awful food, taped up seats. I went here once and the food I was served resembled dog food straight out of a can. The appearance was not deceiving, it was inedible. I would never try this place again. Not only is it not mexican food, I don't even think it is human food.

Recycled Food. The Cafe Silvestre chain used to be one of my familys favorite places to go until an unfortunate discovery. They recycle food that was served at their tables. I walked in one night and ordered some chips and salsa to go. The kitchen area was visible from where I was standing and as I waited for my order I was shocked to see the person preparing my order take leftover salsa from a trays that a waitress had just brought in and dumped the contents in the container for my order. Sufficient to say, that was my last visit ever to any Cafe Silvestre.
