The menu did not describe the sauce that is on the smothered burritoes. Warning to vegetarians: Ask about the meat content in everything! I am sure they would have made me a burrito without meat sauce, but I was on my way to work so I did not have time to go back. (My co-worker liked the burrito - hence the "average" rating.) Very kid-friendly restaurant. Encourages children to wander around by providing arcade games and toy machines all over the front area of the place. That plus the general noise level and loud talking is more than encouraged here, don't go if these sort of things makes you nervous or spoils a meal.
Pros: friendly service, good parking, fast service
Cons: noisy, arcade games, little for vegetarian

For years my friends and I have continued to frequent La Puente for it's unbeatable smothered burritos. Whenever friends who have moved out of town are visiting it is just assumed that there will be a trip to La Puente scheduled. I'll be going again tomorrow. Enjoy.
Pros: Great Food, Price, Authentic
Cons: Less Pibb, More Dr. P
