Cafe Rio Mexican Grill

Best Location of Them All -- Friends of Dorothy, Must GO!. Every single time my partner and I are craving some Mexi meat, we run over to this particular Cafe Rio location because the service is superb. They consistently give a little extra meat over the other locations!

I realize they don't know us by name (yet), but they certainly remember us and are always nice to us.

The grilled chicken burrito is my favorite sans cheese, and my partner loves chicken tortilla soup (he's on a diet).

The mint limeade is superb. Oh my gosh. I always refill my cup just before leaving, and we take it home and use it as a mojito mixer. Best ever.…

Yawn. Nothing special here.. This place sells sweet pork and chicken burritos and taco salads. They don't do Mexican spices, but they do a lot of brown sugar. Lines are long. Try beto's instead if you want Mexican fast food. (Of course, the red iguana if you want great Mexican at a real restaurant).…

There goes your time at the gym!!!!!. If you are looking to stay fit and keep off the unwanted pounds do not go to any Cafe Rio. The food there is loaded with fat, carbs, etc. We went for the first time moving to the state and watched what they call sweet pork being cooked in what looked like a pound of butter and tasted like a quart of sugar had been added and then taken to the line. Even the shredded beef. We watched the so called made in house meat "that was in a bag" reheated and cooked in butter again and brought out to the line. We could see the butter in the shredded chicken juice floating on the top. We asked for some info on fat grams and carbs no help from the company there. The employees just acted like what a stupid question. Sorry we do not see what is so great about the food and the almost 45 minute wait in line…
