Outpost Cafe

Great food, crabby owner. They have the best chicken fried steak we have ever eaten and the french dip is right up there with the tender beef that is not deli meat - if only it had better aju. Not a fan of the skimpy outfits, but all the waitresses are great. The owner lady however - a bit on the cranky side. They offer deals on City Deals and she does not like to take them. Why bring customers in only to scare them off?

The Food
Breakfast is the star of the show here, served every day until 4pm. Go for the steak and eggs or the Greek omelet (gyro meat, feta cheese, onions, olives and mushrooms) if you're hungry--all breakfast entrées come with either pancakes, French toast or toast. For lunch or dinner, try a half-pound hamburger or the Italian sausage and spaghetti. Many come here just for the St. Louis-style pork ribs or the Greek souvlaki platter (two pork skewers).…
