The Scene
It's in a nondescript strip mall, and that blandness is reflected inside, as the walls--sparsely decorated with off-the-rack artwork and artificial floral arrangements--attest. Morley's mix of booth seating and cloth-free tables is clearly meant for function, not fashion. Though bare, the layout is able to accommodate a lunchtime rush or a large group.
The Food
Morley's delivers authentic open-pit barbecue in generous portions. Barbecue sauce aficionados might be disappointed that there's only one kind, but fortunately, it's a good one, with sweet undertones that complement and don't overwhelm the meat. But first, get warmed up with hot and spicy Killer Kielbasa, simmered in barbecue sauce and melted cheese. For entrees, the reasonably priced combination platter will please everyone, though ordinary spare ribs pale in comparison to tender and flavorful smoked chicken and moist and tangy chopped pork. Savor the brisket, a rich, melt-in-your-mouth delight. Forget
out-of-the-can beans and get crunchy fries or delectable onion chips.

A bit of a drive, but some decent barbecue. Not the best, but a good version none the less. Ribs are a bit plainly seasoned but competent. Sauce is pretty good. They do good chicken too. Sides are on a par with the food.

We ordered a large amount of beef brisket and pulled pork to host a large party. Everyone loved the food, especially the brisket. The sauce complemented the meat very well and was not overpowering, so it was great as an all around crowd pleaser. Was this the best barbecue I've ever had? Probably not, but it was definitely one of the best in Utah, and I feel like we got more than our money's worth. The service was excellent. When we went to pick up our order it was well packaged and they carried it out to our car. I will definitely come back to get food for another gathering, and to try eating in the restaurant with my family.

This had to me some of the worst BBQ I've had the misfortune to sample. The ribs appeared to have been boiled and then lightly flamed on a grill. They were completely tasteless and the BBQ sauce was not even as good as a Del Monte or Hunts product you could pick up from Albertsons. The brisket was equally tasteless. Side dishes were equally disappointing. Given the limited number of BBQ places in Utah, I would like to be able to say something good about the place but the only positive thing I can offer is that there appeared to be plenty of tables available and no waiting for takeout.
