Don't Get Your Dress Tailored Here. I would not recommend buying your dress here. Or, if you do, I would not get it tailored by anyone in-house. I bought my wedding dress here and was very pleased with the design of the dress and the service I received until it was mailed to me. Since I lived out-of-state, the measurements for tailoring (which was only adding a bustle and hemming the dress about an inch) were done on the day I bought the dress. The tailoring was done by someone at Bridal Expressions. I am not sure if they were an employee or someone they contract with for tailoring. Regardless, when I got the dress it was a mess. The whole lining under the dress along with the hemline was completely crooked. Given the short turn-around time for the wedding, I had to hire another person to fix the dress. I had already paid Bridal Expressions $200 for the tailoring. It cost me an additional $300 to fix their work. My new tailor went on and on about what a horrible job was done the first time and that I should get my money back. After the wedding, I tried to do this. I had receipts and my tailor was willing to talk to them about the issues with the dress. They asked me to send an email and then it took them a month to respond. After responding it was obvious that they were not going to reimburse me for the tailoring regardless of the fact that I had another professional to vouch for me.…
