People have been known to soak in the Great Salt Lake for medicinal purpose, but cruising across it can be just as therapeutic..
The Scene
Salt Island Adventures' 65-foot, climate-controlled boat offers tours of the lake, launching from the Great Salt Lake marina. Go for a one-hour jaunt—pop an Orange Crush, sit out on the top deck and watch the mountains pass by.
The Food
Here's another thing to think about: it's like a floating Manhattan Club! Sunset dinner cruises are offered Thursday through Saturday with a three course meal for $43 a person. Or enjoy a weekday sunset buffet Monday through Wednesday for $30 per person. You can also book the cruise liner for private parties and weddings.
