A pink and blue color scheme, white tile floors and hacienda-like arched windows combine for a subtle Southwestern motif at this fast-food chain. Founded in Southern California in 1962 by Glen Bell (who invented the pre-fab hard taco shell), this casual order-at-the-counter Mexican restaurant features classics like tacos, nachos, quesadillas and burritos. In recent years, menu offerings have expanded to include specialty items like gorditas, chalupas and cinnamon twists.

Avoid this Taco Bell. We commonly refer to the Draper, UT Taco Bell as the *absolute worst* Taco Bell. The staff are predictably rude, dirty and foul-mouthed -- we typically avoid this Taco Bell for this reason. Last night, however, my three children wanted to go, so I took them hoping to have a different experience. We arrived to find numerous teenagers congregated outside and a much longer-than-average drive-thru line. We entered the restaurant to find NO ONE there inside. Upon seeing us enter the facility, one of the teenagers followed us in, ran back outside and yelled, "OH MY GOD, THERE'S NO ONE MAKING ANY FOOD!!" Following, a number of previously-smoking teenagers rushed into the store, ran into the back and immediately started preparing food. I did not observe anyone taking the time to wash hands, and some of them weren't even wearing Taco Bell uniforms. As expected, my experience was consistent with the sub-standard quality I've observed many times before, and we immediately left as a result. We will not be returning, ever.
